The 7th axis bundle for the igus ReBeL!

Expand the workspace of your ReBeL in no time at all.
With our individual and versatile 7th axis, you can extend the operating radius of your ReBeL to up to 5,800mm (according to technical design)!
Whether overhead or horizontal, our drylin® ZLW-20200 toothed belt axis makes it possible - with a long service life and no maintenance._x00B_Due to our tribologically optimised plastics, no additional lubrication is necessary.

Control system
The new control box makes it possible to control the 7th axis via the igus Robot Control as an external axis. _x00B_The direct connection to the CAN bus provides you with a ready-to-connect solution with which you can move the 7th axis within a very short time.
Direct control via the igus Robot Control also allows for simultaneous movement of the 7th axis and the robot in unlimited positions.

Typical applications of our 7th axes for the ReBeL are:

• Pick & place applications
• Quality controls or barcode checks on large components
• Processing of several workstations
• Machine larger components that are outside the normal workspace of the robot

Hardware
The bundle contains: 

• Robot (ReBeL 4, 5 or 6DOF)
• 7th axis control box (including digital input and output expansion to 14DIN + 14DOUT) 
• Cable set 
• Linear axis ZLW-20200, including motor 
• Energy chain including bracket 

Diagram similar. Currently, e-chains of the 2400 series are in use. The chain length is intended for a centre feed (date 11/2025). The chain can also be extended later if required (add chain links 2400.05.75, please contact us). Note: Please be aware that the motor on the underside is approx. 2mm below the shaft end supports of the axis. During assembly, either a clearance must be provided in the installation surface for the motor or corresponding spacer adapters must be provided under the axis.
