The drygear® Apiro® Heavy-Duty is the reinforced version of the tried-and-tested Apiro® screw jack and has been specially developed for applications requiring higher loads, greater stability and precisely guided linear motion.
Thanks to its robust heavy-duty housing, the gear unit is ideally suited to demanding environments in automation, packaging and mechanical engineering. The linear motion is generated directly from the rotational motion of the gear unit, enabling a compact, backlash-free and reliable lifting motion.
Like all Apiro® gearboxes, the heavy-duty version also operates lubricant-free in dry running. This reduces maintenance requirements and downtime, and facilitates use in dirt-sensitive or hygiene-critical areas.
At igus®, Apiro® stands for modular, cost-effective gear solutions. The heavy-duty screw jack can be easily integrated into the Apiro® modular gear system and operated either manually or by motor. Thanks to the modular design, customised solutions can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively.
